Obituary

Mary Helena (Cook) Kinsella a 15 year resident of Charlestown, and former 30 year resident of Dorchester, died on Tuesday March 14, 2006 at The Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford, following a long illness. She was 89 years old.

Mary was born in Chelsea on June 17, 1916 and grew up in Chelsea, where she attended Chelsea Public Schools. She worked as an operator for over 20 years at New England Telephone Company. She retired in 1979. She was a homemaker devoted to her family.

Mary is the beloved wife of the late Bernard M. Kinsella. She is the devoted mother of Kathleen J. Kennedy of Florida, Bernard M. Kinsella Jr. of South Boston, Daniel T. Kinsella of Braintree the late Bernadette Chamness and Lorraine Whitton. She is the loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is the sister of Patricia Alton of Westford, Elva Bowden of Everett and the late Alberta Condon.

Mary's Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 17, 2006 at 10 am. in the Frank H. Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Mary will be held on Thursday March 16, 2006 from 5 to 8 pm. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
