Obituary

Mary G. Jesso, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Chelsea Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 90 years of age.

Mary was born in Boston on August 8, 1928, a daughter of the late Michael A. Jesso and Mary G. (DeCristoforo) Jesso. She grew up in Charlestown where she attended St. Catherine's Parochial School and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1946. Mary worked as a Supervisor for Blue Cross and Blue Shield for over 40 years.

Mary is the beloved daughter of the late Michael A. Jesso and Mary G. (DeCristoforo) Jesso. She is the loving sister of Lee Jesso of Charlestown, and the late Phyllis Perrone and Rocco A. Jesso. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mary's visiting hours on Monday morning, January 7, 2019 from 9 A.M. to 10:30 A.M., in The Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. Her burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
