Obituary

Michael J. Cain II, a lifelong Charlestown resident, entered into eternal life suddenly on Thursday, July 2, 2015. He was 24 years old.

Michael was born in Cambridge on June 18, 1991, a son of Michael J. "Smokey" Cain and Lisa Centola. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from North East Regional Vocational Technical High School where he excelled in football in 2010. Michael worked for Costa's Fruit Company for several years before joining the Laborer's Union Local # 22 where he has been working as a laborer in the construction industry.

Michael is the beloved son of Michael J. "Smokey" Cain and Lisa Centola. He is the devoted brother of Sheena Centola and Melanie Cain. He is the loving uncle to Colin, Jason and Anaya. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael's Funeral on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
