Michael J. Farris, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. He was 74 years of age.

Michael was born in Boston on February 3, 1952, a son of the late Myles E. Farris and Patricia A. (Quinn) Farris. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School System. Michael enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked as a truck driver throughout his life.

Michael is the dear brother of Edward "Buddy" Farris and his wife Dorothy, James "Porky" Farris and his late wife Maureen, and the late Patricia Gould and her husband Eugene, Daniel Farris, and John "Jay" Farris. He is the loving Uncle Muck to several nieces and nephews.
