Michael James "Micky" Millerick, 69, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, passed away on April 17, 2026, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on August 3, 1956 in Cambridge, Michael was the devoted son of the late David and Barbara (Beaton) Millerick, both of Charlestown. A "Townie" through and through, where he attended St. Mary’s Parochial School and graduated from Clarence R. Edwards Junior High School. He went on to graduate from Charlestown High School, where he spent four years in the school’s electrical course, later becoming an electrician. As the second oldest of seven children, he carried a deep sense of family responsibility and pride in his community throughout his life.

Michael was the longtime companion of the late Pati Kelly. He was the beloved brother of Janice Brady and her husband Paul of Winchester; Deborah Connors of Plymouth; Susan MacDonald and her late husband Al of Warren; Kevin Millerick and his wife Pati (Kavanagh) of Dorchester; David Millerick of Chinatown; and Kelly O’Neil of Charlestown. A devoted uncle, Micky was incredibly close to his many nieces and nephews. He was the lifelong friend of Billy Johnson of Hudson, NH, and is also survived by a large extended family of cousins and many dear friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, David and Barbara; his companion, Pati; his niece, Danielle Millerick; and his brother-in-law, Al MacDonald.
