Obituary

Michael F. "Mike" Stearns, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life peacefully in his sleep on Friday, April 3, 2020. He was 54 years of age.

Mike was born in Boston on February 9, 1966, a son of the late Frederick E. Stearn and Mary F. (Nardone) Stearn. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1984. Mike was an Iron worker for Union Local # 7. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, Old Orchid Beach, his family and especially his grandson Liam.

Mike is the devoted father of Michael A. Stearns and his wife Courtney, MacKenzie Stearns, and their mother Laurie Barends. He is the loving Papa to Liam Stearns. He is the beloved brother of Tina Dalli-Nichols and her husband Frank, Sharlene Cahill and her husband David, Kimberly CiFelli and her husband Michael, and Frederick "Ricky" Stearns and Pam Butler. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

GIVEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS AND THE CITY OF BOSTON PUBLIC GATHERING MANDATES FOR THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, MIKE'S FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE PRIVATE.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
