Mildred P. "Nana" (Thorpe) Gallagher, a resident of Charlestown, passed into eternal life on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illnes only 4 days after her sister Ruth Andrea, who passed away on December 8, 2012. Mildred was 91 years old.
Mildred was born in Boston on June 19, 1921, a daughter of the late Percival Thorpe and Ethel (Pratt) Thorpe. She was a homemaker.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mildred's graveside service on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. There are no visiting hours.
