Obituary

Nancy Marie Longo, a resident of East Boston and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 63 years of age.

Nancy was born in Somerville on April 11, 1959, a daughter of the late Raymond E.A. Longo and Mary J. (Brady) Longo. Nancy grew up in Charlestown where she was educated and graduated from Julie Billiard High School in the North End of Boston in 1976. Nancy worked as a Meter Maid for the City of Boston and retired following over 25 years of dedicated service to the City of Boston.

Nancy had in infectious personality and whenever you met up with her you were always greeted with her bubbly disposition and her smile.

Nancy is the beloved daughter of the late Raymond E.A. Longo and Mary J. (Brady) Longo. She is the loving companion for 25 years to Vincent "Vinnie" Forlizzi of East Boston. She is the devoted sister of Raymond E.A. Longo Jr. and his wife Norma, Robert E. Longo and his wife Pamela, Kenneth A. Longo and his wife Tricia and the late Gary W. Longo and his surviving wife Donna. Nancy is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nancy's Funeral Mass on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2023 at 10 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown. Parking attendants provided. Her burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
