Obituary

Patrick J. "PJ" Durham, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness. He was 50 years old.

PJ was born in Boston on November 12, 1962, a son of the late John J. Durham and Ruth (Gearin) Durham. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1981. He worked several years as a laborer.

PJ is the beloved father of Casey Durham of Charlestown. He is the dear friend of Rita Mahoney of Charlestown. He is also survived by 2 brothers and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial visitation for PJ on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown.
