Obituary

Paul L. Kennedy, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, died on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a lengthy illness. He was 82 years old.

Paul was born in Boston, he grew up in Charlestown where he attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Charlestown High School. Paul enlisted into the United States Army in 1950. He served during the Korean Conflict and was discharged in September of 1952.

Paul is the beloved son of the late James and Theresa (Monagle) Kennedy. He is the loving brother of Katherine P. Kennedy of Charlestown and the late John T. Kennedy.

Paul's Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in the Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Relatives and friends are invited.
