Obituary

Peter P. Guarnieri, formerly of Hyannis, passed away on Saturday September 13, 2008 at The Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a long illness. He was 55 years old.

Peter was born in Boston on September 1, 1953. He grew up in the Boston area and Somerville. He had worked as a roofer for several years with a construction company.

Peter is the beloved son of John Guarnieri of Melrose and the late Olive (Cantelli) Guarnieri. He is the loving brother of John E. Guarnieri of Saugus, Marie Oliveira of Wakefield, Rita Muray of Groveland, Lorraine Guarnieri of Dracut and Michael Guarnieri of Quincy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Peter on Wednesday September 17, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main St. Melrose followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
