Obituary

Priscilla M. (Bingham) Kenyon, a longtime resident of Charlestown, died on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Glen Ridge Nursing Home in Medford following an extended illness. She was 86 years old.

Priscilla was born in Adams, Massachusetts on February 11, 1924. She grew up in North Adams, Massachusetts and attended schools there. She migrated to Charlestown over 60 years ago and worked many years at The Boston Naval Shipyard in Charlestown. Priscilla was a homemaker also, taking care of her family.

Priscilla is the beloved wife of the late Percy R. Kenyon. She is the devoted mother of Roger Chesebrough and his wife Gloria of Charlestown, Marlene Cunningham and her husband William of Medford, Michael Kenyon and his wife Kelley of Everett and the late Marie Mitchell and her surviving husband Robert of Lynn. She is the loving grandmother of Jannine, Jackie, Sandy, Melissa, Mike Jr., Jessica, the late P.J. Kenyon and her 5 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Priscilla's Funeral on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. from the Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in The Grace Episcopal Church, 160 High St. Medford at 10 a.m. Burial at Mount Hope Cemetery, Mattapan. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m.
