Raymond Edward Morris Jr., 72, of Anthony, Florida, passed away peacefully in Summerfield, Florida at the Brandley Hospice House, on September 20th, 2026.

Raymond was born in Winthrop, Massachusetts, to Raymond Edward Morris Sr. and Marion Frances Morris on December 26, 1953. Raymond grew up in Charlestown, Massachusetts. He attended Brighton High School, graduating in 1972.

Raymond proudly dedicated 26 years of his life to serving his country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. During his distinguished military career, he served in Aircraft Armament Systems. Raymond took great pride in his service and in the opportunity to serve his country.

Outside of his military career, Raymond was a hardworking and talented man who could fix just about anything. He enjoyed woodworking, mechanics, working with his hands, and spending time with his family. He was known for his ability to repair things and for the pride he took in helping those around him.

Most of all, Raymond loved his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Agnes Morris; his two daughters, Tammi Schemmel and her husband, Robert, and Kristina Berenguer and her husband, Richard; his grandchildren, Samantha, Steven, Taylor, Cheyenne, and Alexa; and his great-grandchildren, Alexis, Isabelle, Beau, Richard Jr, and Dawson.

He is also survived by his siblings, Harriet O’Donnell and her husband Phillip, Roberta Freeman, Samuel Morris, and Phillip Morris and his wife Carol, along with extended family and many friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Edward Morris and Marion Frances Morris and sister Janet Woods.

Raymond will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His 26 years of military service reflected his dedication and strength, while his love for his family reflected the heart of the man he was. The memories he created, the things he built, the people he helped, and the love he shared will continue to live on through his family for generations to come.

Funeral services and burial will happen at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fl with military honors in recognition of Raymond’s honorable service in the United States Air Force.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who loved Raymond, supported him, and cared for him throughout his life.
