Obituary

Richard J. "Richie" Dole, lifelong resident of Charlestown entered into eternal life suddenly on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Boston Medical Center in Boston. He was 55 years old.

Richie was born in Boston on January 23, 1960, a son of Robert J. Dole and Carol A. (McNelley) Dole. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system. Richie had been working as a carpenter for several construction companies in the Boston area.

Richie is the beloved son of Robert J. Dole and his wife Kathie and the late Carol A. (McNelley) Dole. He is the devoted brother of Robert M. Dole and his partner Maria Rose of Wilmington, Michael T. Dole and his wife Janet of Everett and Brian Dole. He is the loving uncle to Shawna, Shannon, Kerri, Michael, Brittney and Bobbi Dole. He is the longtime companion of the late Maureen Gould.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Richie's Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 11 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown. His burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
