Obituary

Rita E. Mahoney, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was 76 years of age.

Rita was born in Boston on November 23, 1941, a daughter of the late Timothy Mahoney and Mary (Collins) Mahoney. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system. Rita was a homemaker most of her adult life.

Rita is the devoted sister of William Mahoney, John F. Mahoney and the late Joseph "Moe" Mahoney, Mary Pantone and Timothy Mahoney. She is the beloved sister-in-law of Rita Mahoney. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Rita's Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
