Obituary

Rita M. (Thibodeau) Torres, a 63 year resident of Melrose, entered into eternal life unexpectedly on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. She was 90 years old.

Rita was born in Boston on July 28, 1922, a daughter of the late Walter J. Thibodeau and Ethel M. (Harwood) Thibodeau. Rita grew up in Medford where she attended Medford Public Schools and graduated from Medford High School in 1940. Rita has been a homemaker most of her adult life.

Rita is the beloved wife of the late Robert S. Thibodeau. She is the devoted mother of Ethel M. Torres of Melrose and Janice M. Gillcrist and her partner Patrick M. O'Hearn of Melrose.

Rita's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
