Obituary

Robert L. "Bob" O'Leary, a resident of Everett and formerly of Medford and Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at his home in Everett. He was 79 years of age.

Bob was born in Medford on October 29, 1940, a son of the late F. John O'Leary and Mildred (Doherty) O'Leary. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended St. Catherine's Parochial School and graduated from Don Bosco High School. Bob was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local #218 and worked for Boston Housing for 20 years until his retirement.

Bob is the beloved husband of 53 years to Brenda (Kemper) O'Leary. He is the devoted father of Brian O'Leary, Robert O'Leary, Brenda Comerford, and his late baby Kenneth Michael. He is the loving Papa to John, Robert, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Meghan Comerford, and Landon O'Leary. He is the beloved brother of Martha Sullivan, Mary Ellen Clifford, and the late John O'Leary(Ret. BFD), Geraldine Sullivan, and Joseph O'Leary. He is the father-in-law of Lisa O'Leary and William Comerford. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will take place at a later date at the Immaculate Conception Church in Everett.
