Obituary

Robert C. "Bobby" Scadding, a lifelong Charlestown resident, entered into eternal life unexpectedly at his sons home in Manchester, New Hampshire on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. He was 57 years old.

Bobby was born in Boston on November 1, 1957, a son of the late Charles R. Scadding and Mary F. (Leeman) Scadding. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system. Bobby had been working as a roofer for a local roofing company. Bobby was a talented athlete in his earlier years and had a tryout with the Oakland Athletics baseball team. He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed all the special occasions especially with his grandchildren.

Bobby is the beloved husband of 25 years to Michele A. (Gallagher) Scadding. He is the devoted father of Thomas Cleveland, Richard Cleveland, Robert C. Scadding Jr., Sean Scadding and Chalane Scadding. He is the loving Papa to Christian, Bentley, Bailey Shay, Brielle, Jonathin, Michael and Jayla. He is the beloved brother of Joe, Cathy, Jimmy, Mary, John, Christine and the late Susan and Barry. He is the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bobby's visiting hours on Tuesday, January, 6, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M. with his Funeral Service at 7:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
