Obituary

Robert E. Harris Jr., a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Monday, May 20, 2013 at his home. He was 64 years old.

Robert was born in Boston on May 17, 1949, a son of the late Robert E. Harris and Dorothy (Leeman) Harris. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended the Boston Public School system. Robert worked as a mechanic for several auto body companies in the area.

Robert is the former husband of Margaret M. (Stack). He is the devoted father of James P. Harris and his wife Linda, Jeffrey K. Bancroft and his wife Kellie and Valerie M. Marino. He is the loving Grandfather of 5 grandchildren. He is the beloved brother of Maureen Holden, Daniel Harris, Michael Harris, Dorothy Harris and the late David Harris.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Robert's visiting hours on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 4 to 7 P.M. followed by his Funeral Service at 7 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Interment is private.
