Obituary

Robert W. Schertell, a 50 year resident of Charlestown and formerly of Dorchester, entered into eternal life suddenly on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at his home in Charlestown. He was 62 years of age.

Robert was born in Boston on November 7, 1956, a son of Joan (Spanks) Schertell and the late William Schertell. He grew up in Dorchester where he was educated throughout the Boston Public School system. Robert worked as a laborer for most of his adult life.

He is the beloved son of Joan (Spanks) Schertell and the late William Schertell. He is the beloved brother of James Schertell. He is also survived by his beloved dog Snoopy.

Robert's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
