Obituary

Rose C. (Gaetani) Walsh, a longtime resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Eastpointe Nursing Home in Chelsea. She was 100 years of age.

Rose was born in Boston on April 21, 1921, a daughter of the late Luigi Gaetani and Agnes (DiBenedictis) Gaetani. She grew up in Hyde Park for several years before moving to Billerica and then to Medford. Rose worked as a Clerk for the Jordan Marsh Company in Boston for many years until her retirement.

Rose was the beloved wife of the late George E. Walsh. She was the loving sister of the late Michael Gaetani, Albert Gaetani, Theresa Navarro, and Lucy Gaetani. She is also survived by several loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Rose's visiting hours on Monday morning, January 24, 2022 from 9 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. Her burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
