Obituary

Rosemarie (Belcastro) Howell, a resident of Peabody and formerly of Marblehead, died on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 64 years old.

Rosemarie was born in Boston on March 1, 1944. She grew up in the West End of Boston where she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Girls High School in Boston. Rosemarie had been working as a coordinator for the Probation Department at Salem Superior Court in Salem for the last 10 years before her illness forced her to stop working.

Rosemarie is the wife of the late Michael F. Howell. She is the devoted mother of Michael R. Howell and Rachel M. Howell both of Charlestown. She is the loving grandmother of Taylor and Hilary Howell. She is the sister of Joseph Belcastro, James, Joseph and Richard Nutile, Patricia Hennigan and Mary Taylor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Rosemarie on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 175 Broadway, Malden.
