Obituary

Sharon M. King, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Watertown Health Care in Watertown. She was 49 years old.

Sharon was born in Boston on August 8, 1965, a daughter of William J. "Whitey" King and Joan T. (Lydon) King. She grew up in Charlestown where she attended St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and graduated from Julie Billiard High School in the North End of Boston in 1983. Sharon worked as a computer operator for Putnam Securities several years ago.

Sharon is the beloved daughter of William J. "Whitey" King and Joan T. (Lydon) King. She is the devoted sister of Debi A. Giannone and her husband Joseph of Middleton, William J. King Jr. of Charlestown and Edward P. King of Norwood. She is the loving aunt to Steven Giannone, Devlin King and Oona King. She is the neice of Peggy Crepeau and her husband Bernie of Rhode Island. She is also survived by many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sharon's Funeral on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 10 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. Her burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
