Obituary

Stephen D. Smith, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. He was 48 years of age.

Stephen was born in Boston on September 4, 1972, a son of Maureen Campbell and the late Brian E. Smith. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and graduated from Charlestown High School where he played football and hockey. Stephen was an Iron Worker and was a member of the Ironworkers Union Local # 7..

Stephen is the beloved son of Maureen Campbell and the late Brian E. Smith. He is the dear brother of Brian Smith and Brendon Smith. He is the loving uncle to Connor and Cameron Smith. He is also survived by his many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Stephen's Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, November 14, 2020 at 10 A.M. in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.(FACIAL COVERINGS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIRED INSIDE CHURCH.)
