Obituary

Steven L. Shea, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was 32 years of age.

Steven was born in Boston on June 17, 1992, a son of Kelly A. (Fitzpatrick) Smith and Steven L. Shea. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School System. While growing up, Steven was active in Charlestown Pop Warner. He enjoyed playing Basketball and listening to music.

Steven is the beloved son of Kelly A. (Fitzpatrick) Smith and her husband David, and Steven L. Shea. He is survived by his cherished daughter Coehyn Shea and her mother Courtney. He is the loving grandson of Ellen Houlihan, Robert Fitzpatrick and his wife Cindy, Doris Shea, and the late Jack Shea. He is the dear brother of Declan Smith, Cara Shea, Kaleigh Shea, Emily Shea, Hayley Shea, Billy Lyman, Christian Ahearn, and the late Bridgette Ahearn. He is the nephew of Kim Fitzpatrick, Kerrin Houlihan, Paul Buchino, John Castrucci, Anthony Shea, Jason Shea, Keeghan Fitzpatrick, Konnor Fitzpatrick, and the late Kyle Fitzpatrick. and the late Jackie Shea. He is also survived by many loving cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Steven's visiting hours on Saturday morning, February 22, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass at 12 Noon in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
