Obituary

Susan Marie O'Brien, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln following a 43 year courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was 68 years of age.

Susan was born in Boston on October 20, 1955, a daughter of the late Joseph O'Brien and Mary (McLaughlin) O'Brien. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1973. Susan was a homemaker most of her adult where she always enjoyed the company of her family. She was an avid dog lover and enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox.

Susan is the devoted sister of Neil O'Brien. She is the beloved mother of Sean O'Brien and his partner Jane Connolly and Michael O'Brien. She is the loving Nana Susan to Kaleigh, Mackenzie and Margaret. She is the dear friend of Paul Nolan.
