Obituary

Tino F. Novello Jr., a 25 year resident of Saugus, former 25 year resident of Medford and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was 76 years of age.

Tino was Born in Boston on September 2, 1941, a son of the late Tino F. Novello and Viola M. (Saccardo) Novello. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School. Tino worked as a General Contractor for Novello General Contracting, which he owned with his brother for many years. He enjoyed traveling to Saratoga and visiting Suffolk Downs. He was a member of the Halligan Club in Charlestown and the Sons of Italy in Medford.

Tino is the beloved husband of the late Catherine C. "Sissy" (Potter) Novello. He is the devoted father of Kimberly Novello of Saugus and Tino F. Novello III of Saugus. He is the beloved brother of Mary Williams of Charlestown, Viola Siriani and her husband Louis of Revere, and the late Rocco Novello. He is also survived by his beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Tyler.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Tino's Funeral on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. His burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. His visiting hours will be on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
