Obituary

Tyler A. Roy, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his home in Charlestown. He was 57 years of age.

Tyler was born in Boston on July 29, 1966, a son of the late Thomas Roy and Audrey (Paige) Roy. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School. Tyler worked as a barber throughout his life. His greatest joy was being a drum major for the Bunker Hill Pipe Band.

Tyler is survived by his wife Cheryl (Upton) Roy, his daughter Bridget Lemerise and her husband Tommy, his grandchildren Ryleigh and Camdyn, his brother Tommy Roy and his wife Mary, his nephew Terry Smith, and his nieces Tiffany Nazaire, Michelle Wright, and Nicole Worthington. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Audrey, and his sister Diann Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Tyler's Visiting hours on Tuesday March 26, 2024 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
