Obituary

Wayne W. McClellan, a resident of Watertown and formerly of Charlestown, died on Monday February 2, 2009 at Waban Health and Rehabilitation Center in Newton following a lengthy illness. He was 53 years old.

Wayne was born in Lowell on November 1, 1955. He worked for several years as a drill operator for a computer company.

Wayne is the beloved father of Wayne W. McClellan Jr. and Cody McClellan. He is the beloved grandfather of 5 grandchildren. He is the beloved son of the late John and Barbara (Kuyava) McClellan. He is the devoted brother of Barbara J. Cole of Watertown and John J. McClellan of Plymouth. He is the dear friend of Mary "Penny" Sweeney of Watertown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday morning February 5, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 a.m. Cremation will take place following his funeral mass.
