Obituary

Wendell E. Laking Jr., a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Whidden Hospital in Everett. He was 38 years old.

Wendell was born in Boston on January 31, 1979, a son of Catherine M. "Cathy" (Scadding) Laking and Wendell E. Laking. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated and graduated from the Holden School in Charlestown. Wendell enjoyed photograpghy and mostly enjoyed his music and being a DJ.

Wendell is the loving son of Catherine E. "Cathy" (Scadding) Laking and the late Wendell E. Laking. He is the beloved brother of Michael Laking, Barry Laking and James Laking. He is also lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Wendell's visiting hours on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 4 to 8 P.M. with his Funeral Service at 7:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
