Obituary

William E. McLaughlin Jr., a resident of South Boston and formerly of Charlestown, passed into eternal life suddenly on Friday, November 23, 2012. He was 39 years old.

William was born in Boston on September 28, 1973, a son of William E. McLaughlin and Eleanor M. (Bowden) McLaughlin. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended the Boston Public School system. William had been working as a laborer for a local construction and demolition company.

William is the beloved husband of Brooke A. (LaPaglia) McLaughlin. He is the loving father of Cameron, Frankie, Brenna and Paeyton. He is the devoted son of William E. McLaughlin and Eleanor M. (Bowden) McLaughlin of Charlestown. He is the devoted brother of Christine Fitzpatrick and her husband James and Colleen McLaughlin. He is the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend William's Funeral on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10:30 a.m. Interment is private. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
